What is ZipTax?

ZipTax is a free iPhone app that lets you calculate and compare your tax burden across all 50 states in the U.S.

When you consider moving to a new state, you might calculate your new income tax, but not sales tax or property tax.

Some states have no income tax, but very high sales tax. So it's not enough to just calculate income tax. You have to think of the total tax picture.

Why did I make this app?

I am an indie developer, and this is my first app! I made ZipTax because I wanted to use a tool like it, and it didn't exist. First, I built the tool in Microsoft Excel, then decided it would be a great opportunity to build and deploy an app.
